Walmart Discounts, Coupons and Money Saving Tips

Walmart is among the most popular destinations for educators shopping for their classrooms and families. They have a history of providing seasonal discounts to teachers, as well as giving $50 Teacher Rewards Cards to educators of participating schools. Check with your local Walmart and Sam's Club on how your school can participate. In the meantime, we've compiled a number of money saving tips for your next shopping trip at Walmart.

TIP #1: Before heading out to Walmart or making an online purchase on their site, consider purchasing Walmart gifts cards at a discount to use as your form of payment. These gift cards are discounted by up to 35% and are available for dozens of your favorite retail stores and restaurants. Inventory updates daily, so check back tomorrow if no gift cards are currently available for the store in which you're interested.

TIP #2: Print these free Walmart coupons to use in-store. Hundreds of coupons are available which are conveniently printed from your computer.

TIP #3: Take advantage of Walmart's Dare to Compare Tool, which shows you how much a specific product costs at Walmart as compared to other stores like Amazon and Best Buy.

TIP #4: Check out their clearance items which are discounted by up to 70%. Don't forget that you can get free site to store shipping.

TIP #5: Use this section of Walmart's website to quickly find school essentials, build classroom shopping lists, and access free resources to help you manage your classroom efficiently and effectively.

TIP #6: Learn about the Walmart Foundation which provides grants, scholarships and other opportunities designed to help educators, students and schools.

About Walmart

Saving people money to help them live better was the goal that Sam Walton envisioned when he opened the doors to the first Walmart more than 40 years ago. Today, this mission is more important than ever.
