My Education Discount Teacher Discounts

If you're in the market for a new house, be sure to check the Department of Housing and Urban Development, better known as HUD.

HUD believes that teachers can contribute to community revitalization. Through the
Good Neighbor Next Door Program, HUD offers pre-K through 12th grade teachers a 50% discount off the list price of select homes. Law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMTs are also eligible.

Buyers must commit to live in a HUD property for 36 months as their principal residence. For more information and to begin your search for a HUD Home in your area, visit hud.gov.
