the Department of Housing and Urban Development, better known as HUD.
HUD believes that teachers can contribute to community revitalization. Through the
Good Neighbor Next Door Program, HUD offers pre-K through 12th grade teachers a 50% discount off the list price of select homes. Law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMTs are also eligible.
Buyers must commit to live in a HUD property for 36 months as their principal residence.
